Find out about our professional and experienced team - who they are, how they can help you and how you can contact them.

Andrew Harper

Adviser and co-Director

I am based in Dorset but travel around the south helping clients all over Hampshire and Wiltshire amongst others.
I thrive on helping clients secure their future financial well-being by advising them on their investments, pensions, mortgages and protection.

Being an Adviser provides me with the opportunity to develop a professional and personal lifetime bond with clients, helping them to make some of the most important decisions of their lives regarding their and their family’s financial future.

I’ve spent my entire career in financial services and I have been recognised many times over the years for outstanding levels of client service and I’m proud to say that my business has been built upon referrals from existing clients

If you are in the process of, or thinking about, making any sort of important financial decision, I would encourage you to just give me call or drop me a line so we can have a quick chat and I can offer you my initial thoughts on your situation.

By the way, I am married with three children, two of which are currently in University, so I understand the challenges of planning for the future whilst managing the expenditure of the present!    In my spare time, I enjoy reading, mountain biking, playing squash, badminton and tennis. For my sins I support Ipswich Town FC and I’m a keen follower of NFL.

Ross Laughton

Adviser and co-Director

I live in Hampshire and I typically help clients in the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas, but with the proliferation of such tools as Zoom and Teams, I’m also able to help clients further afield.

I am an expert in educating and guiding clients to help secure their future financial well-being by advising them on their investments, pensions and protection.

I started my career in 2001 with Liverpool Victoria after completing a degree in Financial Services from Southampton University and since then I have worked for various Mutual Societies, Building Societies, Banks and financial services providers.

This experience, along with being a Chartered Financial Planner, enabled me to become an expert in Financial Advising, giving me the opportunity to develop a professional and personal lifetime bond with clients, helping them to make some of the most important decisions of their lives regarding their and their family’s financial future.

Without question, the most rewarding aspect of the job is meeting clients face-to-face, gaining a full understanding of their circumstances and helping formulate a strategy to achieve their goals.

I am in the privileged position that I have been able to grow my business through referrals, however if you have visited our website and you don’t know us, I would encourage you to either give me or Andrew a call so I can offer you my observations regarding your situation.

On a personal note, I am married to Miranda and we have two children Thomas and Benjamin and spend a lot of my spare time coaching and watching my boys play football and other sports. As a competitive Dad I am pleased that my boys are considerably better than me at sport despite their young age

Amelia Dodwell

Administrator

I started my secretarial career working for one of Europe’s finest Golf Course builders, where I started as an office junior and worked my way up to head of one of the departments.

On leaving there I joined a Building Society as a secretary and worked my way over to mortgage underwriting, where I became a senior mortgage underwriter for 11 years.

After missing the secretarial and administration field, I joined local government for three years and I also assisted my husband in his own business.

I really enjoy the daily administration of Harper’s Financial, I love to organise, enjoy attention to detail work and interacting with and helping our clients.

Outside of work I love to run, read, and go on lovely long dog walks in the New Forest or on the beach.  I also enjoy supporting and taking my son to his various sporting events throughout the country.
